So, what are the Haitians supposed to actually DO with those solar powered talking bibles?

I think it would be difficult to utilize a solar powered anything when one is trapped in the dark under a bunch of rubble. They also do not sound very nutritious or medically helpful. Unless, of course, they’re made of fruit roll ups, antibiotics and possibly opiate painkillers.

Your thoughts on this? Helpful, harmful or just plain odd and perplexing?

BQ: Is it "wrong" to find this absolutely hilarious AND perplexing at the same time?
Actually, oh first respondent, I have no shame because I’ve done nothing to be ashamed of in the first place. I’m not bashing by questioning priorities. I’m questioning priorities – that’s all.
GFT – as Terry and Phrog have pointed out, there are severe logistical issues right now. Any available room on anything that gets through, from plane to bus to boat, should be used for rescue and medical personnel, food, water, building supplies and medicine. Spreading "the word" can come later. A caring christian would bump the bibles out of the way and put some medicine and water purification tablets in their place. I know that’s what we’d do in my faith.
