If the Pelosi Gang won’t even allow any mention of drilling for our own oil?

Doesn’t this present a serious quandary for our country to face?

Is Obama claiming that fuel-cell, electric, and solar-powered vehicle technology will be totally matured in that time frame, and that the entire infrastructure needed to support these types of transportation will also be in place?

He has no plan to eliminate foreign oil, he’s just blowing smoke up our butts, and many of his sheeplings are inhaling.

Uhbama want us to air up our tires. Beyond that he doesn’t have an uh um er ah clue.

Obama will give us all 10 acres and a mule.

either by eliminating us or oil itself and we have no choice but to live w/o it

Obama does not have a clue, he will put us all on bicycles before he and Pelousy are done.

Well, we could switch all residential, commerical and "structural" energy users to a renewable source of wind, water, nuclear and solar applications in 10 years.

With the increase in hydrogen cell, hybrid vehicles and electric cars that would also dent our demand.

If we were to do that we would effectively have no need for foreign oil…..we would just have to convince our domestic drilling companies to sell us our own oil instead of selling tax payer subsidized oil to Brazil and the like.

When JFK claimed we would "be the first to put a man on the moon" it was outlandish too…..guess what happened?

Wanna know what our greatest asset is? Nobody tells us what we CANNOT accomplish. We have, historically, defied the odds at many turns. When I hear people tell me that "we can’t" accomplish certain goals like this it just tells me that YOU don’t want to try or be bothered by any inconvenience…..how UN-American.

He said ten years because it is after 2 terms, and then it won’t matter

Excellent question. Is our food going to be delivered to us by horse and buggy? What about other supplies and goods? I have a tough time imagining that every truck in the U.S. is going to be retrofitted within ten years.

A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. Or are you too shortsighted and narrow-mided to see that?

It’s clear that Obama has not a single clue about how enormous a change it would be and how long such a major upheaval of the infrastructure would take.

He might be able to surf the web better than McCain, but he don’t know squat about technology.

Additionally, this changeover cannot happen in such a short time span; how do we fuel our transportation system in the meantime? A million Obama platitudes won’t move a semi-load of produce one inch.

It would nice to see a link to see if he said that. Unitl then, see the link below for Obama’s energy Plan.

From what I heard he plans on banning the import of foreign oil.

I guess he will hand out a load of tire pressure gauges! hahaha! His proposal is nothing but hot air.
