There may be a simple solution to this or I may just be over thinking it… I am making a portable solar power unit and I have a question regarding the wiring. When using the inverter from the battery, how do I make sure that the inverter isn’t pulling power from the solar panel as well since they are connected to the same battery terminals? Should I have a switch inline somewhere to deactivate the solar panel when using the inverter or is that pointless?
