I am doing an essay for my Biology class and I was curious what YOU would pick as a topic and why:
1. Change all lights from incandescent to flourescent light bulbs.
2. Drive a hybrid Car.
3. Drive a hydrogen cell car.
4. Drive an electric car.
5. Install solar panels on your hose.
6. Use public transportation for routine trips like work and school.
7. Ride a bike instead of driving short distances.
8. Purchase and install engery efficient windows.
9. Recycle all paper, plastic and aluminum on campus.
10. Properly dispose and recycle all computers and other electronics.
11. Use only recycled paper products at school.
12. Create a compost facility for appropriate lunch waste.
13. Invest in wind turbines for electricity generation.
14. Support development for tidal or wave generating systems.
I know that this is a lot but personally, I was leaning towards topics 2, 4, 5, 6 and 12 but I will probably end up choosing number 5 because we have solar panels in our house…
but your opinion will be very much appreciated!
