Physics question about solar energy conversion. Please help!!?

At a certain location, the solar power per unit area reaching the Earth’s surface is 200 W/m squared, averaged over a 25 hour day. If you live in a house whose average power requirement is 3kW and you can convert solar power to electric power with a 10% effeciency, how large a collecter unit will you need to meet your household energy requirements from solar energy? Will it fit in you yard?

The above is exactly how the question is written. I think that the household requirement of 3 kW is per day, or would it be per hour. I’m not sure which would be more likely. Can you help me figure it out?
Sorry guys, it is a "24 hour day" (of course)…just a typo! Thanks for your help!
